The White Rock Pride Society Rainbow Walks, held the 3rd Saturday of every month, are a great opportunity for members and allies of the White Rock/South Surrey Pride community to enjoy a gentle nature walk together followed by a free coffee or tea at a local business.
Our March Rainbow Walk will take place:
- Date: Saturday, March 21st
- Time: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Location: Nico Wynd Golf Course | 3601 Nico Wynd Dr, Surrey, BC
- Who: All ages are welcome, dogs on leash too!
- RSVP: Not required but appreciated on our Facebook event page!
- Post-Walk Coffee: Meet at Nico Wynd Golf Course Cafe around 11 am for a complimentary post-walk coffee or tea.
We will meet in the parking lot of the Nico Wynd Golf course for a gentle walk 45 – 60 minute through the trails along the Nicomekl River which is known for its wetlands, wildlife, and seasonal colours. Keep an eye out for barn owls, salmon, and graceful shorebirds as we walk, talk, and connect surrounded by the beauty of nature.
POST WALK COFFEE AT THE NICO WYND GOLF COURSE CAFE
Following the walk we will gather at the Nico Wynd Golf Course cafe where we will treat you to your first cup of coffee (or tea)!
WHAT ARE RAINBOW WALKS?
Rainbow Walks are a monthly event hosted by the White Rock Pride Society on the 3rd Saturday of every month (except July & December). These walks are an opportunity for members and allies of the White Rock Pride community to connect, unwind, and enjoy nature together.
Whether you come solo or bring your friends, family, or four-legged companions, you’ll find a welcoming, inclusive environment.
An RSVP isn’t required, but clicking “Interested” or “Going” on our Facebook event helps us reach more community members — and we appreciate it!
ABOUT THE WHITE ROCK PRIDE SOCIETY
The White Rock Pride Society is a not-for-profit, volunteer-led organization whose mission is to bring together the White Rock Pride communities, families and allies through events that offer social connection, belonging, celebration, understanding and acceptance.
Every month, we host a Rainbow Walk on the third Saturday and a social mingler on the last Wednesday. We also host our annual celebration of White Rock & South Surrey Pride with our White Rock Pride Week scheduled for July 17-26, 2026!
