This meaningful event brings together the City of White Rock and our 2SLGBTQ+ community in a simple ceremony thatcelebrates diversity, inclusion, and the progress we continue to make together.

What to Expect:

• Opening remarks from local dignitaries and White Rock Pride Society board members
• The raising of the Pride Flag as a symbol of visibility and solidarity
• A special reading and personal reflection by a local 2SLGBTQ+ community member (We’re currently seeking someone— see below!)

This event is open to everyone—friends, families, allies, and members of the 2SLGBTQ+ community. Come stand with us as we raise the flag and our voices in support of love, acceptance, and pride.

Interested in speaking?
We are looking for a local 2SLGBTQ+ individual to share a poem or personal story as part of the ceremony. If you or someone you know would like to be involved, please contact culture@whiterockcity.ca. Honorarium provided. Deadline for expression of interest is June 13, 2025.
