Rainbow Walks are a great opportunity for members and allies of the White Rock/South Surrey Pride community to enjoy a gentle nature walk together followed by a free coffee or tea at a local business.
Our February Rainbow Walk will take place:
- Date: Saturday, February 21st
- Time: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Location: White Rock Promenade. Meet at the Bear Statue on East Beach
- Who: All ages are welcome, dogs on leash too!
- RSVP: Not required but appreciated on our Facebook event page!
- Post-Walk Coffee: Meet at The Cafe at Ocean Promenade Hotel (formerly Finlays) around 11 am for a complimentary post-walk coffee or tea.
We’ll gather at the Bear Statue at the far end of East beach across from the Night Owl restaurant before heading out on a gentle 45–60 minute walk along the White Rock beach promenade.
POST WALK COFFEE AT THE CAFÉ AT OCEAN PROMENADE HOTEL
After the walk, we’ll head to the The Cafe, where we will gather on their heated patio. Your first tea or coffee is on us as a small thank-you for joining us.
WHAT ARE RAINBOW WALKS?
Rainbow Walks are a monthly event hosted by the White Rock Pride Society on the 3rd Saturday of every month (except July & December). These walks are an opportunity for members and allies of the White Rock Pride community to connect, unwind, and enjoy nature together.
Whether you come solo or bring your friends, family, or four-legged companions, you’ll find a welcoming, inclusive environment.
An RSVP isn’t required, but clicking “Interested” or “Going” on our Facebook event helps us reach more community members — and we appreciate it!
ABOUT THE WHITE ROCK PRIDE SOCIETY
The White Rock Pride Society is a not-for-profit, volunteer-led organization whose mission is to bring together the White Rock Pride communities, families and allies through events that offer social connection, belonging, celebration, understanding and acceptance.
Every month, we host a Rainbow Walk on the third Saturday and a social mingler on the last Wednesday. We also host our annual celebration of White Rock & South Surrey Pride with our White Rock Pride Week scheduled for July 17-26, 2026!
