The Coldest Night of the Year is back! Mark your calendars for Saturday, February 28, 2026, and join us for this family-friendly fundraiser walk starting at Memorial Park along White Rock Beach.
Date: Saturday, February 28, 2026
Time: Registration opens at 4:00 PM; walk begins at 5:15 PM
Location: Start / Finish Memorial Park, White Rock, BC (15300 Marine Drive)
Event Timing:
- 4:00 pm: Meet Check-in
- 4:45 pm: Muster Gather for Opening Remarks
- 5:00 pm: Move Send-off
- 6:00 pm: Munch Light meal served
- 7:00 pm: Mosey Thank You! See you in 2027!
This annual event, hosted by Sources Community Resource Centres, brings communities across the Lower Mainland together to raise funds for those experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness. Every dollar raised goes directly to support individuals and families in the local community who need it most.
How You Can Support the Coldest Night of the Year

- Join Our Team: Walk with the White Rock Pride Society team to show your support and help spread awareness.
OR you can sign up your own team! We are ALWAYS ready for some friendly competition so if you’re up for it we challenge you to create your own team and try to beat our fundraising goals.
You can sign up your team on the Coldest Night of the Year website. Fundraising walkers who raise $150+ (or $75+ for those under 18) will receive a CNOY toque as a thank you on event day, while supplies last.
Whether you’re walking 2km, 5km, or just cheering from the sidelines, your participation helps bring hope and warmth to those who need it most during the coldest nights of the year.
