Join us for our 3rd annual White Rock Pride Family Day on July 20th, where we’re thrilled to announce a ground-breaking new lineup: a Taylor Swift drag performance, marking a first for our event! But that’s not all – get ready for a day packed with enchantment and excitement. Fairies will dance, clowns will entertain, and local youth will showcase their talents alongside the kids’ carnival games and painting activities.

The festivities kick off at 11 AM and run until 4 PM, offering a full day of family-friendly fun. Explore a variety of vendors selling crafts, indulge in delicious treats from food carts, and groove to live performances on the stage from 1 PM to 4 PM. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to celebrate PRIDE in White Rock – gather your friends and join us for a day filled with love, laughter, and community spirit!

Vendor Application Information:

Are you interested in becoming a vendor for the White Rock Pride Family Day event? We welcome applications from businesses and individuals who align with our celebration of diversity and inclusion. Please review the following criteria before submitting your application:

    1. Retail Booth Must Sell Pride-Themed Products: Vendors are required to offer products that celebrate and support LGBTQ+ pride. This can include but is not limited to rainbow-themed merchandise, LGBTQ+ literature, apparel, accessories, and artwork.
    2. Payment Options Must Include Cashless Options: In line with modern convenience and safety measures, vendors must be equipped to accept cashless payments such as credit/debit cards, mobile payments, or electronic transfers.
    3. Must Have Their Own Social Media to Promote This Event: Vendors are expected to actively promote their participation in the White Rock Pride Family Day event on their own social media platforms. This helps to generate excitement and awareness within the community.
    4. Compliance with Health and Safety Regulations: The Organizer is required to obtain any necessary temporary food permits from the Fraser Health Authority if applicable. Please refer to the requirements outlined by the Fraser Health Authority for food businesses here. We will need copies of your permits and certificates.
    5. Community Groups: This year, we have a limited capacity for community groups, with space available for up to 10 organizations that specifically cater to or offer services for the LGBTQ2+ community.

Application Process:
To apply for a vendor booth at the White Rock Pride Family Day event, kindly complete the form below. Only vendors who meet the specified criteria will be considered for participation. Approved vendors will receive notification via email within one week of submitting their application.

Upon approval of your application, follow these steps:

1. Booth Fee Payment:

To secure your vendor spot, submit a $55 booth fee. Please ensure payment is made by May 15th, 2024. Payment options are as follows:

Once payment is received, our accountant, Michael Barwell, will email you a receipt.

2. Insurance Requirement:

Accepted vendors are required to provide third-party liability insurance. Please include the following Additional Insured on your insurance policy:

If you do not have existing third-party liability insurance, we recommend using DUUO insurance for this event. Click here to get your insurance.

3. Food Vendors Only:

Food vendors are required to obtain temporary food permits from the Fraser Health Authority. Approved permits must be emailed to Michele@whiterockpride.com. Detailed requirements and further information can be found on the Fraser Health Authority website here. Application forms can be accessed here.

4. Tent/tables and chairs:

You must provide your own 10’X10’ tent with at least 25lb weights for each tent leg; as wel as table and chairs for your booth. We encourage you to decorate your booth with Pride.
